Classification of Documents

In the case of a document management system that had served for over 20 years, the need for a replacement became apparent. The existing system lacked organization, with over 5 million documents residing without proper classification. To facilitate the migration to a new document management system, which mandated all documents to be classified into one of 32 types, our team devised a solution.

Leveraging statistical analysis of keywords within document headers, we created a classification algorithm. This algorithm not only addressed the immediate migration requirement but also paved the way for a more organized and efficient document management system.
